Cancer is a disease involving the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body and can metastasize. However, Benign tumor does not have the ability to metastasize. Malignant tumors sometimes metastasize(spreads to other parts (s) of the body).

These abnormal cell growths start growing when the body’s normal control mechanism stops working. When this happens the old body cells do not die rather grow uncontrollably forming abnormal cells. This new and extra cells form a mass of tissue called a Tumor. Tumor develops when cells reproduce too fast.

  • Benign
  • Pre-malignant
  • Malignant

These are tumors that do not metastasize. Because they cannot spread to other parts of the body. Hence, are not cancerous. When removed they do not have the ability to develop.

The premalignant tumor has every potential to metastasize but the cells are not cancerous yet.

Malignant tumors metastasize and are cancerous. That means the abnormal cells grow and affect or spread to other body parts.

LEUKEMIA(all types)

These types of cancer begin in the blood and a large number of abnormal white blood cells grow and develop in the blood and bone marrow to where they gather and block the normal blood cells. This affects the body and makes oxygen distribution to its tissue difficult, So, the body can no longer fight infections and control bleeding.

Pancreatic cancer starts developing in the pancreas and rapidly spreads to other body parts. It metastasizes because it spreads to other body parts.

Follicular, medullary, and the most common type of thyroid cancer, papillary can be treated effectively with good results but Anaplastic thyroid cancer is difficult to cure.
